2. Acceptance of Terms
By using DocuWise, you:
- Confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Accept full responsibility for your use of the App.
- Agree to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Agree that you are not using this App on behalf of someone else without their explicit authorization.
If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has consented to these Terms.
2.1 Zero-Backend Architecture
Important: DocuWise operates with zero backend servers or databases. This means:
- All your vault configuration and documents are stored exclusively in your personal Google Drive.
- WiselyRise does not operate any servers, databases, or backend infrastructure.
- Your data is not stored on WiselyRise infrastructure.
- We do not have access to your documents or vault configuration.
- All data remains entirely under your control in Google Drive.
- Synchronization happens directly between your devices and Google Drive (never through WiselyRise servers).
This architecture means you have complete ownership and control of your data.
3. Account & Registration
3.1 Registration
To use DocuWise, you must create an account via Google Sign-In. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Update your information if it changes.
- Use only one personal account (multi-accounting is prohibited).
- Not impersonate or misrepresent yourself.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account and credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying support immediately if you suspect compromised credentials.
- Enabling optional security features (PIN, biometric lock) in the app.
We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access due to your negligence or failure to secure your account. Since DocuWise has zero backend infrastructure, all security monitoring happens at the Google Drive level, which is under your control.
3.3 Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion:
- Removes your DocuWise account configuration and app access.
- Does NOT delete documents in your Google Drive (you own them permanently).
- Does NOT affect family members' access to documents already shared with them.
- Cannot be undone (your app configuration data is immediately removed).
- Your vault data in Google Drive remains permanently under your control and can be managed directly through Google Drive.
